The Sawo Kecik Dance Studio has made an extraordinary contribution to the celebration of the 6th anniversary of Griya Budaya “Mama Ucup,” which was held splendidly on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Alun-Alun Kacirebonan.
This celebration marked an exceptional moment that blended the spirit of togetherness and cultural richness, becoming a historic moment for the people of Cirebon and its surroundings. The Sawo Kecik Dance Studio, with their impressive dance performances, including Tari Citopeng, Tari Wonderland, and Tari Nusantara, successfully brought spirit and beauty to this event.
Not only the Sawo Kecik Dance Studio, but many other art studios also participated in celebrating this anniversary. They included Griya Budaya Studio, HK Studio, Sekar Kenanga Studio, Wafi Studio, Nurul Huda Kindergarten, Simaja Elementary School, Sekar Arum Studio, Panji Budaya Studio, Nawasena Studio, SMA 7 Dance Studio, and MTS Darul Hikam Dance Studio.
The mesmerizing performances by the Sawo Kecik Dance Studio received enthusiastic applause from the audience. They managed to present an extraordinary cultural and artistic charm in this celebration, and their contribution was greatly appreciated by all in attendance.
In addition to artistic performances, various other activities also added vibrancy to this anniversary, such as Social Community Work, Blood Donors, Free Health Check-ups, Bekham Therapy, Macapat (traditional Javanese singing), UMKM Bazaar (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises), Art Appreciation, and Grojogan performance of Gagrak shadow puppets by 6 puppeteers.
