Cirebon, October 30, 2021 - At the Alun-Alun-Alun Sangkala Buana, the Sawo Kecik Dance Studio held a solo dance performance aimed at entertaining the residents around the Kasepuhan Palace in Cirebon. The Sawo Kecik Studio mesmerized the audience with a performance that showcased the beauty of traditional Cirebon dance art.


The performance by the Sawo Kecik Dance Studio in Cirebon at the Alun-Alun-Alun Sangkala Buana was not only for entertainment but also to introduce and preserve traditional Cirebon dance art for the local community around the Kasepuhan Palace. The audience was invited to experience the cultural richness and history of Cirebon through this beautiful and valuable dance.

Ratu Dini Andhiyani Seminingrat, the leader of the Sawo Kecik Dance Studio in Cirebon, conveyed the noble intention behind this dance performance, saying, "We are eager to showcase the beauty of traditional Cirebon dance art to the residents around the Kasepuhan Palace while providing them with a memorable entertainment. This is one of our efforts to preserve Cirebon culture and keep our dance heritage alive," she said with enthusiasm.


Elang Oon Andhiyono Seminingrat, the advisor to the studio and the initiator of the event, explained the broader goals of this event, stating, "We want to unite the young and old generations in their love and appreciation for traditional dance art at the Kasepuhan Palace in Cirebon. By presenting this dance at the Alun-Alun-Alun Sangkala Buana, we hope to inspire the community to safeguard and preserve our cultural wealth."
