Sawo Kecik Dance Studio Enlivens Interfaith Event

On July 21, 2022, Kebumen Field bore witness to the spirit of unity among different faiths as the Sawo Kecik Cirebon Dance Studio participated in an Interfaith Event with an impressive display of Traditional Dance. This event demonstrated the studio's commitment to supporting cultural preservation and religious diversity.


The Traditional Dance performance by Sawo Kecik Dance Studio added vibrancy to the event, captivating the audience with the distinctive beauty of dance movements. Ratu Dini Andhiyani Seminingrat, the leader of the Sawo Kecik Cirebon Dance Studio, expressed her pride in participating in the Interfaith Event.


"At Sawo Kecik Dance Studio, which focuses on traditional Cirebon art, we wholeheartedly support all activities that promote the preservation of cultural heritage and interfaith harmony. Through our dance, we hope that traditional Cirebon dance will become more widely recognized and enduring," said Ratu Dini Andhiyani Seminingrat.


Elang Oon Andhiyono Seminingrat, as the advisor of Sawo Kecik Dance Studio, provided the necessary support and facilitation for the dancers to participate in this event. His role has been one of the key factors in the success of organizing this interfaith event.


The Interfaith Event successfully brought together various religious communities and different segments of society. Sawo Kecik Dance Studio hopes that through collaborative efforts like this, traditional Cirebon dance will continue to flourish and serve as a bridge that unites diverse cultures and beliefs.
